The score element to tennis is what makes it interesting and difficult. Tennis is a zero-sum game, so there is no draw. Surprisingly, few players think about the score when making a game plan. The top players have different game plans based on the score and can adapt quickly due to the ebbs and flows of the match. There are three scenarios in a score where you are either up, down, or even and you should try to come up with tactics that make sense for you in all three scenarios.
